Newborn Knit Hat

The yarn has not been packed away yet
and remains in the tote next to my easy chair.
I know I said I was going to pack away the hex blanket
for now because the warmer weather was making it
torture to work on.
Cooler weather is great when you are doing a WIP.
We had a bit of a cool down these past few days
and as the temperature was dropping a bit,
my knitting needles were heating up.

 I found the pattern HERE.
This is the printable pattern page,
but at the bottom there is a link to Bev's
blog "The Make Your Own Zone".
She has a lot of neat and nifty ideas and
one is that those green lids you get on the
Parmesan Cheese containers also fit on
your canning jars. How neat a tip is that!
Check her out when you get a chance.

  1. Hey Sweetie, just popping around to see what everyone is up too. Glad to see you haven't put those needles way for the whole summer. Please keep them close never know when you might find a cute pattern like this one.

Ok, I'm flying solo now for the week till Scott gets here. Strange to be nice and quiet, but maybe I'll finally get over this nasty cold. But, that pool is calling out my door.... come for a quick dip....

  2. So you've to do many knittings for your littlee darling. Baby wear are fast finished and more pattern I suppose.

  3. Cute little hat. We're having a cool down too - it was 80 degrees 2 days ago and now we're in the 50's. Have a great day. :)

  4. I know what you mean about the warm weather and knitting! That baby hat is just adorable! Thank you for sharing the pattern.

  5. You can't beat a little baby hat..they are just adorable!

  6. Oh what a sweet little hat.
It has been very warm here. I sat in the sun for a few hours, my DH says I now look like a robin!
    Carol xx

  7. Wish I could make hats - this is really cute with the multi color! :-)
