this is so pretty, bursting with colors....I do like the way the sunshine and shadow hits it...all the views are lovely, the one on the clothesline against the green grass....really makes it pop...and how lovely are these all folded with the cornucopia of colors....nice job....:) the border is fine, and sets off the rest of the piece....
How did I miss this post?? Anyway, I'm glad I finally saw it. Love your granny log cabin. It's so colorful! It looks nice laying over the chair on your porch.
What a project! I love it! How do you keep it from looking "screw-gee" in the center? Mine are always askew as they grow. I saw someone suggest incorporating a turn and a slip stitch to go the opposite direction with each round. Do you do that?
very nice! it looks warm and is one those pretty things that just makes you smile
ReplyDeleteI love it! And my very first thought was I like the solid border:@)

ReplyDeleteI love it Susanne - it's very pretty with all the different colors. I like the border you added too - it frames the granny pattern. :)
